What exactly is Bookkeeping?
The exact definition of bookkeeping is the activity or occupation of keeping records of the financial affairs of a business. However, the reality is much more simple. I have dedicated my time to this practice and now I extend my services to you and your business! Make all of those end of the year report last minute hassles a thing of the past and let me work for you! Timely work and quality service is what I am all about to help keep all of your financial affairs in order and possibly keep you from being overwhelmed by all of the maintenance that time of the year can bring.
About Me and My Mission
My name is Lisa Dollinger, the owner of LD Bookkeeping Services. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and have lived in Hardin County since 1992. We have 4 children, and currently have 4 grandchildren with more on the way!
During Covid, I was home for over 6 months. During that time, a set of twin grandbabies were born; being home to help with them was a blessing. That’s when I decided working from home was the way to go, so I opened LD Bookkeeping Services in March of 2021.
Bookkeeping is all I’ve ever done. I have 35+ years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping. I’ve done bookkeeping for construction companies, boutiques, salons, realtors, janitorial companies and many more. I’m not a tax preparer or CPA, rather, I’m a bookkeeper. I prepare your books for your CPA / Tax Preparer. I often work directly with CPAs to answer any questions they might have about your books. My goal is always to make things as easy as possible for both you and your CPA.
If I am fortunate enough to get your business, I guarantee you would not be disappointed. Your bookkeeping will be current each month, complete with reports showing an accurate reporting of all your sales and expenses. I firmly believe reviewing your books monthly is the time to make any necessary changes to categorization – not at the end of the year, while you are trying to review 12 months at once. This practice saves a lot of stress at tax time, which is welcome to all parties involved.
